CONSUME HOT FOOD

CONSUME UNCTUOUS FOOD

It causes downward movement of Vata It promotes body strength. It strengthen sense organs.

PROPER QUANTITY OF FOOD

Divide your stomach into 3 parts  Fill 1/3rd of it with solid food 1/3rd with Liquids 1/3rd should be left empty for proper digestion

CONSUME NEXT MEAL AFTER DIGESTION OF NEXT MEAL

It will maintain the doshas. It helps heart to function properly. It promotes good life without harming other tissues. It stimulates metabolism

AVOID INCOMPATIBLE FOODS 

Some examples for incompatible foods are: Milk + sour foods Milk + Fish Honey and ghee in equal quantity

Consume Food At Proper Place With All Accessories.

DONT EAT IN A HURRY

In this fast paced life everyone is in a hurry. Ayurveda contradicts eating in a hurry because One can't perceive the Taste of the food hence reducing stimulus to release digestive enzymes.

DONT EAT FOOD TOO SLOWLY

Eating food too slowly leads to: One never feels content . Leads to overeating. Food Becomes cold hence delaying the metabolism
